The Georgia Sweet Potato Rally was an annual motorcycle gathering held in Ocilla, Georgia. The last gathering was scheduled to take place on October 27, 28, and 29, 2011, but it was canceled without explanation and no new event has been scheduled to date. The events scheduled included:
Today, the Sweet Potato Rally is gone, but the Sweet Potato Festival is still going on in Ocilla. On October 22, 2012, Ocilla residents and visitors will celebrate the 52nd annual gathering, sponsored by the Ocilla Chamber of Commerce. The festival is held on the last Saturday in October of each year.

Originally sponsored by the South Georgia Touring Club and known as the Sweet Potato Motorcycle Rally, the event took place once every year for 25 years, running from 1984 to 2009. Participants were invited to join a lively karaoke contest, go on a scenic tour, play in poker tournaments, visit the Georgia Rural Telephone Museum and have lunch at a local restaurant, enjoy a live band – in 2009, the featured band was Prism, a band that played 50’s, 60’s and 70’s music - play bingo, take the Cotton Gin Tour, ride in the Sweet Potato Parade, and have Sunday morning breakfast. They were also invited to Attend a Sunday morning church service at 7 AM on Sunday.
On the day of the bike parade, those who wished to decorate their bikes and be in judging contest were invited to ride in single file in front of the reviewing stand across from the courthouse.
Camping was available and vendors were invited to sell goods, food, and other services.
Door prizes included a $1,000 cash prize.
The event raised money for the Georgia Baptist Children's home and other charities, and the toys collected were donated to the Toys for Tots program.
